About the Traveling Fete Group
Traveling Fete Group, the parent company for Purple Fete and Bare Fete, is a provider of personalized villa vacations in Tuscany and luxury yacht charters. Purple Fete, founded in 2000, is now recognized as the best source of luxury villa rentals, concierge services and tailor-made experiences in Tuscany.
Traveling Fete Group started with Purple Fete in 2000 as a wine consulting company, Bare Fete was added in 2007 as a provider of luxury yacht charter vacations, both companies dedicated to creating a distinctive experience by helping choose the best option for each group and customize each clients experience based on their specific needs. Clients of the Traveling Fete Group can benefit not only from our experience, and our strict selection process, but also our ability to combine two unique vacations in to one. We can design a unique vacation that will include both a stay at one the most luxurious villas in Tuscany, followed by a sybaritic excursion from the Italian Riviera to the small coastal towns along the French Riviera.

James A. Fantaci, Proprietor
James Fantaci is the founder of the Traveling Fete Group, which includes both Purple Fete and Bare Fete companies. Purple Fete, founded in 2000, originally a wine consulting company evolved in to a luxury Tuscan villa rental company. The success of Purple Fete, and his passion for ocean travel, led to the development of Bare Fete, a luxury yacht charter business. Both companies are dedicated to creating a unique experience for guests, rather than just a great place to stay, whether the vacation is in a yacht or a villa.
James graduated with honors with a Masters in Management of Hospitality from Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration. He earned his bachelors degree at Skidmore College, and while working in a well-known N.Y. wine emporium, he earned the Diploma from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust of London. He received hands-on experience as an apprentice to the winemaker at the Sonoma boutique winery, Flowers Vineyard & Winery, which was awarded the Artisan Winery of the Year in 2000 and 2001 by Wine & Spirits magazine. He has been published in magazines and books and currently is dedicated to using his experience to create unique, well informed, and memorable experiences for Traveling Fete Group guests!
